The step- grand daughter of legendary actor, Morgan Freeman was killed this morning in Manhattan.
According to People Magazine, police were called about an apparent stabbing in Washington Heights around 3 a.m. When police arrived 33-year-old, E’dena Hines, was found in front of her home with multiple stab wounds to her torso.
She was rushed to Harlem Hospital but doctors were unable to save her. According to police, a 30-year-old man at the scene was arrested in connection to the death and has been taken to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.
Morgan Freeman mourned about the lost of his granddaughter, who one point in time was rumored to have been romantically involved with each other, saying, “The world will never know her artistry in talent, and how much she had to offer. Her friends and family were fortunate enough to have known what she meant as a person. Her star will continue to shine bright in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. May she rest in peace.”
Details of what led up to her murder are still vague but we will keep you posted. We pray for her family.
