#ReggieBush is about to get paid, Roomies!
A jury decided today that the Rams will have to pay the former NFL running back $12.5 million for a knee injury he suffered back in 2015.
Bleacher Report says the Rams were ordered to pay him $4.95 million in compensatory damages and $7.5 million in punitive damages. Reggie filed the lawsuit against the team in 2016.
And of course Reggie is pleased with the verdict. He told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, βThe people spoke and decided very fairly.β
Reggie got hurt as the result of an unsafe surface at the Edward Jones Dome in 2015 while he was playing for the San Francisco 49ers. He slipped on a concrete surface after being pushed out of bounds on a punt return.
The Rams have since moved to Los Angeles following the 2015 season.
