Just four months in and Rosie Perez no longer sees a view for The View in her future!
The View just seems like it may be having a hard time getting it together especially with the millions spent to help reconstruct the show and the ratings are still declining in its 18th season as well as cast mates brawling with each other. It was reported that in November a heated argument between Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg over what controversial topics should be discussed during the show left Rosie Perez crying.
An insider during the incident did say this shady comment, “She’s constantly correcting herself because she’s constantly screwing something up. She’s not the sharpest tool in the shed.”
Also rumored that the “Do The Right Thing” star is more comfortable in film and theater and not live talk shows especially because she has problems reading from the teleprompter.
Perez has been absent from set for the past month because of rehearsals for a Broadway show (allegedly) and the View reps insists that her status has not changed on the show. But on the other hand, A lot of staffers also were caught off guard by Perez being hired on set, questioning her relevance.
Well I guess Perez did the right thing and got on up out of there, you shouldn’t be some place where you’re unwanted. We are glad she knows her role and isn’t trying to be something she is not just for some extra change like some other “celebs” out there.
