Roommates, in this day and age, hair is worth more than gold! It is one of the most lucrative ways that young women make their coin and with the amount of people selling wigs and bundles, you better believe that competition can get a little fierce–even to the point where some hair stylists may be passing off other people’s work as their own!
One of our Roommates is alleging that model and hair care businesswoman, #ShenekaAdams is doing just that! She provided receipts including an Instagram post in which Adams allegedly stole the verbiage our Roommate used on a post for a wig, that was created by and purchased from her, and then advertised it on her own page!
Also, it looks like Miss Sheneka filed a PayPal claim to get the money back for that same wig complete with a note saying that it wasn’t what she ordered even though she wore it out of town! Get into this tea below!

“Shade Room, I want to put “model” Sheneka Adams on blast! After speaking to her in a DM, she decided to purchase a wig from me that I made and told me that she couldn’t wait to get it, because she’d be going out of town for her birthday.
Well, I shipped the wig and Sheneka seemed to be satisfied with everything and told me that she wore it and that she loved it. Later, I see the wig being advertised on her Instagram and her website. This heffa even used the same verbiage that I use on my website and Instagram advertisements! That’s false advertising, so I sent her a DM explaining that I did not appreciate her doing this and asked her to take the pictures down.
Shortly after that, I get a PayPal notification that says Sheneka’s trying to file a dispute to get her money back after already wearing it! First of all, she didn’t even pay $900 for the unit like she’s advertising on her website. She actually only paid $622 and that’s what she’s trying to get back on PayPal. In the comment box, she claims that the wig looked like it had been worn, had a smell to it and that I had blocked her on all my social media which was not true at all.
This girl has been lying to her clients about making wigs and upselling the price on them and that’s wrong! I wonder how many other people she’s done this to!”
Sheesh, Roommates! We hope none of you have had experienced like his over hair! If you have, spill the tea!
