Whew, chile! The word “purrr” got the Rays fighting. Just in case you’ve been outside and not on the ‘gram very much, Rolling Ray and Coi Leray have been at it over the catchphrase “purrr.”
As you know, Rolling Ray always says, “purrr,” and when Coi Leray dropped a song with Pooh Shiesty, “Big Purrr,” Rolling Ray was not here for any of it.
Earlier this week, Rolling Ray took it a bit further and asked Benzino, the father of Coi Leray, to play his song. While Benzino was on live.
Rolling Ray typed, “Play that new BIG PURRRR I sent it to your DM.” Benzino read the message and actually rapped a line from Ray’s song, “Come get your daughter!”
The recording cuts off, but it may be safe to assume that he didn’t play the song while on live.
Most recently, Rolling Ray responded to Yung Miami mentioning she wanted to get on Coi Leray’s remix.
Yung Miami expressed her love for Coi’s record and even asked fans if she should jump on the remix. Coi followed up by saying she was waiting on JT to send her verse, so it looks like all signs are pointing to yes for this City Girls and Coi Leray collab–but not if Rolling Ray has anything to say about it.
Ray, who has also had his own beef with the City Girls, responded to the news of the remix, referring to Coi and Yung Miami as “broke b****es.”
Coi Leray responded with her own set of tweets, telling Rolling Ray that he won’t ever prosper in life if he keeps hating.
Rolling Ray posted a video on Instagram saying he wasn’t impressed with the potential remix, and he also posted screenshots that compared how both songs were charting.
