Singer Rita Ora is giving the world a look at her stunning emerald and gold wedding ring following her marriage to filmmaker Taika Waititi.
The 32-year-old recently appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. And revealed her wedding ring, publicly, for the first time.
I haven’t actually shown anyone my ring, it’s my first time showing my ring and because I love you and I feel like you’re a part of our relationship… Look here it is.
“Ooh la la that’s gorgeous!” said Fallon as Ora held her hand up to the audience.
He did good!
Ora told the audience. Fallon then asked the singer if she assisted her husband with choosing the ring.
I may of… I just think when you know what you want — and I felt like I really knew I wanted to be with this person — I just wanted it to feel really right. So I may have taken him to the shop and I may have pointed out exactly what ring I wanted.
According to Page Six, Maxwell Stone, of UK-based jeweler Steven Stone, spoke exclusively with the outlet. And shared that Ora’s dazzling emerald and gold wedding ring could be worth $500,000.
The stunning ring features a 10-carat emerald-cut Columbian green emerald in a halo setting.
The jewelry expert explained that “Colombian emeralds are typically the most expensive in the world.” Because of their color, they can sometimes appear as if they’re glowing.
The stunning emerald is sat on a delicate gold band. Gold is the most popular wedding ring and engagement ring metal — representing eternal love and promise, it’s always a sentimental choice. I’d estimate Rita’s dazzling engagement ring to be worth $500,000.
Additionally, emerald is regarded as a “promise of good luck.”
During the interview, Ora also reflected on her decision to marry Waititi. And how it sparked her passion to return to music.
I feel like the journey it took me to get to this point and the past two years, my life has changed so drastically… Making a decision to spend the rest of your life with someone is a big decision and so it got me writing again.
Ora also shared more details about the couple’s big day.
It was just nice and perfect. Completely how I wanted it — just to myself sometimes. It was really sweet… Sorry, it’s not that interesting! One day I will throw a big party. I will figure out the time to have a big, big party.’
As The Shade Room previously reported, Ora recently confirmed her marriage to Waititi after marriage rumors swirled on social media. The pair are rumored to have tied the knot during a private ceremony in London last year.
