Rihanna’s devoted fanbase, who lovingly refer to themselves as the Navy, have absolutely been obsessed with finding out if she’s expecting a baby. The rumors have been going on for years now and don’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon—despite her recent interview addressing the matter head on.
As part of her new interview with Vogue magazine, Rihanna participated in a video segment with editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, titled “Rihanna & Anna Wintour Ask Each Other Questions,” in which Wintour asks her directly, “Rihanna, do you hope to have a baby soon?” A flustered Riri answered the question as best she could despite being clearly caught off guard.
She answered, saying:
“I don’t think about stuff like that but, I don’t know, God’s plan. But I look forward to all of the pregnancy rumors after this interview.”
Her repeated pauses and awkward laughter certainly didn’t help squash the pregnancy rumors, as her fans are still very convinced that Rihanna has a bun in the oven that she’s been desperately trying to keep under wraps for quite some time now.
In the past, she stated that her weight gain is simply due to her happiness as she enjoys the success in her professional and personal life. So, we’ll just have to take her word for it.
Elsewhere in the interview, she explained why she declined performing at the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show, simply stating “I just couldn’t be a sellout.”
Roommates, are you satisfied with Rihanna’s pregnancy response?
