It looks like the work never stops when it comes to both Kevin Hart and Ice Cube. Both men always have countless amount of projects under their belts, and now they have yet another one to add to the list.
According to Variety, Universal is currently in the early development stages for the third installment of their hit film, “Ride Along.”
The first film released back in 2014 making a total of $153 million worldwide, and the sequel opened in January of this year making $124 million worldwide.
The synopsis for the third film is currently unknown, but screenwriters Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi are working on the script with director Tim Story. All three men worked on the first two films, while Ice Cube and Will Packer helped produce both films as well.
This weekend Kevin Hart’s new comedy concert film, “What Now” opened in theaters around the country. And Ice Cube can be seen in his new film “Fist Fight,” which is expected to release early next year.
