Richmond, VA School Drops Confederate General Name For Barack Obama!

A Richmond, VA school is getting named after President #BarackObama! J.E.B. Stuart Elementary is currently named after confederate general J.E.B. Stuart. 

They settled on Barack Obama Elementary School in a majority 6-1 vote on Monday. 

The school has 95% African-American attendance so students, teachers and parents submitted ideas for a new name that was representative of this.

Congratulations, President Obama!
