Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG Kyle Richards is acknowledging the speculation surrounding her and Mauricio Umansky‘s marriage, and — while they’re working through some hardships — she says they’re not divorcing!
The matter unfolded earlier this week after PEOPLE reported that the couple had separated after a whopping 27 years of marriage.
Through their relationship, Kyle and Mauricio welcomed three daughters: Alexia, 27; Sophia, 23; and Portia, 15.
Additionally, Marucio helped raise Farrah, 34 — Kyle’s eldest daughter, whom she shares with ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie.
Following the revelation, Kyle Richards shared a statement on the matter via social media.
The reality star started off by declaring, “Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue.”
However, Kyle acknowledged that the couple is indeed going through a rough patch, which she called “the most challenging one of [their] marriage.”
Nonetheless, she stated that she and Mauricio “both love and respect each other tremendously.”
After acknowledging that there’s been “no wrongdoing on anyone’s part,” she asked to “be able to work through [their] issues publicly.”
Before thanking fans for their support, Kyle Richards added, “Please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.”
While on the subject of Kyle and Mauricio, we should also point out that — after the news broke — they were spotted out and about in Aspen, Colorado, on Independence Day.
Mauricio Umansky shared a couple of photos and wished his fans a happy Fourth of July. One of the images showed him and Kyle Richards posing with one of their dogs, and they were joined by two of their daughters.
There are no further updates to the situation at this time.
