To say that our current administration is something else is definitely an understatement. Nonetheless, as we previously reported, the U.S. military carried out an airstrike on Qassem Soleimani, the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Interesting enough, after the action was made under the direction of Donald Trump, an old video and old tweets started to resurface where he predicted an attack on Iran at the hands of our Forever President Barack Obama.
In the video, which was recorded back in 2011, Donnie said, “Our president will start a war with Iran because he has absolutely no ability to negotiate. He’s weak and he’s ineffective. So the only way he figures that he’s going to get reelected — and as sure as you’re sitting there — is to start a war with Iran.”
However, that was not all, in a tweet from 2013, Trump said, “I predict that President Obama will at some point attack Iran in order to save face!”
Now here we are at the start of 2020, and he ordered the attack himself in an attempt to stop future alleged Iranian attack plans. As we mentioned before, it is unclear whether or not the corps had plans to attack the U.S., but Trump saw it necessary to eliminate any potential threat.
Late Thursday, after the attack, was announced he tweeted out a photo of the American flag.
Friday morning, he spoke out and said, “Iran never won a war, but never lost a negotiation!”
He continued, “General Qassem Soleimani has killed or badly wounded thousands of Americans over an extended period of time, and was plotting to kill many more…but got caught! He was, directly and indirectly, responsible for the death of millions of people, including the recent large number of PROTESTERS killed in Iran itself. While Iran will never be able to properly admit it, Soleimani was both hated and feared within the country. They are not nearly as saddened as the leaders will let the outside world believe. He should have been taken out many years ago!”
