Here’s What J.D. Vance Said In The Resurfaced Video
On Thursday, July 25, footage of Senator Vance speaking at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute in Wilmington, Delaware, in 2021 surfaced. The footage initially went viral on X, formerly known as Twitter, after being posted by user @patrynard.
In the clip, Vance explained that when parents “go to the polls,” they “should have more power” than “people who don’t have kids.”
“If you don’t have as much as an investment in the future of this country, maybe you shouldn’t get nearly the same voice,” Vance explained.
Vance explained that parents should and would ultimately get a “bigger say” in how the country’s democracy functions.
