On Monday, Reginae Carter woke up with something on her mind and she took to Twitter to get it off of her chest. The 21-year-old isn’t here for dating men with kids. She’s no longer interested.
She tweeted,
“I’m done dating n-s with kids,” she stated. “It be the bm/bd love for me. Keep that s-t away from me lol,” she added.
Oddly enough, her ex YFN Lucci has two kids of his own. As you know, Reginae dated the Atlanta rapper in an on-again and off-again relationship before completely calling it quits back in 2019, after the infamous cucumber party he attended.
Back in May, Reginae did an interview with Page Six, stating that she’s not making anyone else famous and many people thought she was talking about Lucci.
In a recent interview with Page Six, Reginae let it be known what her next relationship will not be.
“I’m not bringing no dudes on the show,” Reginae said six months after ending her relationship with YFN Lucci. “I’m not making nobody famous. I’m not putting nobody on no more.”
Back in April, Lucci also addressed their relationship and mentioned their 8-year age difference could’ve been an issue.
During an interview with radio personality @iamflyguydc, YFN Lucci discussed his past relationship with Reginae, speaking to a variety of things including the infamous “cucumber party,” as well as the age difference between them.
“I’m me bro. If you ain’t gon’ like me, I ain’t trying to change or make you f**k with me,” Lucci said when asked if he wished to take back his involvement with fellow Atlanta rapper Trouble’s cucumber party (that followed social media’s infamous #Cucumberchallenge).
Lucci also suggested that age could have been a factor in their breakup but when asked if he had the responsibility to portray a different image with Reginae because her father is Lil Wayne, Lucci replied, “Hell nah. It’s what he do.”
Most recently, Reginae was seen on live dancing to one of Lucci’s songs. The inspiring actress was also seen commenting on one of his lives as well.
