I don’t know about y’all, but if I ever had the chance to kick it with Prince, I would remember every single second and detail! Regina King was a guest in The Tonight Show where she told Jimmy Fallon that she had the opportunity to meet Prince not once, but three times!
“He is amazing! But I think he had something about hugging,” she said of their first introduction. “‘Cause the first time I met him, he didn’t quite hug me back; but I kind of felt like it was because it was the first time and he didn’t really know me.”
She says the second time she met Prince she was invited to an Oscar party he was throwing–and of course she went! She had Reese Witherspoon tag along and when they got there, she said it was LIT!
“They’re playing pool, Prince was jammin’, him and his band…(long pause) and….Reese and I fell asleep,” she admitted.
Jimmy asked if it was sleep or a nap, because we all know there’s a big difference there, and she said it was definitely sleep!
