Chicago rapper Chief Keef is under fire with his label yet again. His associates could be sued for up to $4 million for contract violation!
This suit is being filed against Chief Keef but also some of his “affiliates” according to the court documents from label FilmOn Entertainment. This complaint comes just a month or so after he was suspended from the label for violating the contract.
The documents contain six different complaints including breach of contract, civil conspiracy, conversion and others. Keef’s manager Peeda Pan and hot producers Metro Boomin, Zaytoven, Sonny Digital and DJ Holiday are the affiliates mentioned in the docs. The suit is claiming that Keef, as well as these affiliates, conducted business without the label’s approval and without them even knowing. They could all be responsible for paying the $4 million.
Chief Keef, known for popularizing Chicago’s drill music, is only 20-years-old and a father. We hope that the case won’t hinder his career or the mentioned affiliates. As of right now he is still signed to the label, according to Karen Civil.
