Honorary Orange Is The New Black member, Rachel Dolezal, has officially clapped back at her haters in an interview with KREM 2 News in Spokane, Washington!
If you haven’t been keeping up with the Twitter trending topics or looking at the news then you missed out on the biggest scandal of the century! Rachel Dolezal is the first white woman we seen successfully pass as a black woman for almost 10 years! To take it a step further, she’s also the president of the NAACP chapter for Spokane, WA, and has allegedly done a lot for the black community in Spokane, Washington, so as you can see, this whole story is just super bizarre.
Dolezal feels that no one has the right to tell her who she should identify as. “…I do consider myself to be black and that’s because … you know, that’s how I identify,” she told KREM and she insists that opposers should, “maybe think about W.E.B Du Bois that said race is usually biological, always cultural.” Taking that into account, Dolezal doesn’t believe that enough people understand the difference between race and ethnicity anyway, so that is why she has no problem with what is essentially blackface and the lies that she has purported for the past 8+ years. Whoo! She is paying us dust, honey!
Although she may have a legitimate argument, is Mrs. Dolezal taking this to the extreme, roommates? Do you guys think that she is misappropriating black culture? How do you feel about her not caring that she may or may not be offending people? Is being “transracial” going to be a thing now? Tell us your thoughts in the comments!

Let her go through the black experience/struggle in a BLACK city and see how if she will still identify herself as black.
