Many people are still giving their outlook on Lifetime’s latest docuseries “Surviving R. Kelly.” It was previously reported that R. Kelly was disgusted by the accusations in the series, and now it looks like he is taking the time to expose his accusers.
According to TMZ, R. Kelly is reportedly vowing to expose his accusers for what he says were lies told within the docuseries.
Sources close to R. Kelly reportedly told the site that he and his team are in the middle of launching a new website called survivinglies.com. The website will reportedly attempt to expose his accusers as liars and expose the motivation behind their allegations.
At the moment, the website is not live, but there is a Facebook account titled with the same name. It appears that Asante McGee, who was featured in the docuseries, is the first target.
On the Facebook page, a video linked to YouTube features an audio conversation that allegedly features Asante’s daughter and ex-boyfriend exposing her accusations. The people on the audio have not been verified, but the page is claiming that it is Asante’s daughter and ex-boyfriend.
Following the premiere of the docuseries, a video of R. Kelly’s ex-wife, Drea Kelly, started to go viral on social media. In the video, she is seen singing one of his songs in the car. A rep for Drea told the site, “This (video) in no way should be perceived as an extension of support for R. Kelly, but should be viewed as a statement of her strength and not having been defeated.”
The rep also added that the video is several years old.
