Early this summer, Prison Bae #JeremyMeeks was photographed being boo’d up with #TopShop heiress #ChloeGreen. It was in that moment that we all, including Jeremy’s wife Melissa, found out that he had been cheating and moved on to another relationship.
Melissa, who is still Jeremy’s wife on paper, sat down with This Morning hosts Ben Shepherd and Amanda Holden where she opened up about finding out about the infidelity. “I had no indication he was looking for another relationship,” Melissa lamented. “People who are married, you go through your ups and downs, I thought it was a new chapter in our lives, we’d have to get over the hump and it would be fine.”
After his new relationship had been outed, Jeremy confessed everything to Melissa and apologized for how everything came out rather than actually cheating. “He was just apologetic for how things came out and how hurt I was by it. I don’t really think there’s any denying it based on the photos that were out there,” she told the hosts. Jeremy later filed for divorce and amped up the PDA on his new boo.
Melissa’s voice broke as she explained that she didn’t even fight for her husband, because she knew his heart belonged to someone else. “That’s my husband of 8/9 years, I love him deeply, I still do. It’s very hard when I think about what happened.”
“I wish I still had my husband to go home to… but I don’t believe there is any hope.”
