Prince’s family is taking legal action against the doctor who prescribed him pain pills. According to TMZ, the late singer’s family has filed a lawsuit claiming that Dr. Michael Schulenberg is partly to blame for his fatal fentanyl overdose back in April 2016.
The suit claims that Dr. Schulenberg failed to treat Prince for opioid addiction. They are also suing Walgreens and the hospital for not making sure he was using the medicine correctly.
