Jay Z definitely has 99 problems and one of those is facing the fact that he’ll never get his hands on Prince’s unreleased music.
According to TMZ, Jay Z offered Prince’s estate a cool $40 million for the rights to Prince’s unreleased tracks but the problem his estate has no interest.
After rejecting Jay Z his estate decided to call him out for making 15 albums available on Tidal for streaming shortly after Prince’s death. His estate claims they didn’t give Jay or any members of his team permission to release those albums.
Looks like Jay may need his $40 million because he could end up catching a lawsuit from his estate.
