Prince Announces His First Memoir Titled, “The Beautiful Ones!”

If you’re a Prince fanatic, then you’re probably going to be ecstatic, once I tell you that the “Purple Rain” singer himself will be releasing his first ever memoir in Fall 2017!

The memoir is called, “The Beautiful Ones,” just like one of his hit songs on the “Purple Rain” album!

Prince made this announcement on Friday at a press conference in New York, according to PitchFork. The memoir will depict his first memory that forever shaped his life journey and will follow him during the time he played at the Super Bowl XLI halftime show in 2007. “An unconventional and poetic journey through his life and creative work – from the family that shaped him and the people, places, and ideas that fired his creative imagination, to the stories behind the music that changed the world,” in press release statement by his publishing company, Spiegel & Grau.

“Prince is a towering figure in global culture and his music has been the soundtrack for untold numbers of people—including me—for more than a generation,” said Executive Editor of Random House imprint, Chris Jackson. “His creative genius has provided the musical landscape of our lives. Millions of words have been written about Prince—books and articles, essays and criticism—but we’re thrilled to be publishing Prince’s powerful reflections on his own life in his own incandescently vivid, witty, and poetic voice.”

Prince has recently released two albums,“HITNRUN Phase One” and “HITNRUN Phase Two.”

It has also been told that Prince auctioned off some of his most precious belongings, like his engagement ring and rare recordings.
