Roomies, Joe Biden has a plan for Black America. The former Vice President and Presidential candidate took to Instagram and announced his plan to better Black America.
“We need a comprehensive agenda for African Americans,” Joe Biden wrote. He continued, “A plan with the ambition to match the scale of the challenge, and one that recognizes that race-neutral polices are not a sufficient response to race-based disparities.”
Closing the wealth gap, creating health equity for Blacks, access to education, and reducing the number of Black people incarcerated are just a few areas he’s seeking to improve for Black America.
This comes days after facing backlash from Black America because of his comments “You ain’t Black,” when speaking about Black people questioning if they should vote for him or Donnie.
In an interview with Charlamagne, he stated, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black,” That didn’t sit well with too many people and he received backlash, which he later then apologized..
According to CBS reporter, Ed O’ Keefe, he stated, “I should not have been so cavalier. I’ve never, never, ever taken the African American community for granted.”
