Joe Biden Reacts To Trump’s Guilty Verdict
As previously reported by The Shade Room, Donnie was found guilty on all 34 counts in the case. The court determined that Trump falsified business records after paying off an adult film star, Stormy Daniels.
The 77-year-old is officially a convicted felon but remains eligible to run for president. After the verdict was read, Trump told reporters that the trial was “rigged.” He said it was “all done by Biden and his people.” However, there is no evidence that the president or anyone in his administration was involved.
During Joe’s speech, he reassured the American people that the trial was fair and legal. The Commander in Chief stated, “It’s reckless, it’s dangerous, it’s irresponsible for anyone to say this was rigged just because they don’t like the verdict.”
“Our justice system has endured for nearly 250 years, and it literally is the cornerstone of America,” Joe argued.
Furthermore, the President stated the hotel mogul “was given every opportunity to defend himself.” He continued, “A state case, not a federal case, was heard by a jury of 12 citizens. Twelve people like you, like millions of Americans who served on juries.”
He stated there was nothing different about Trump’s jury selection than any other case. Joe said jurors “heard five weeks of evidence. Five weeks, after careful deliberation, the jury reached a unanimous verdict.”
Furthermore, Biden acknowledged that Trump would have a chance to appeal the verdict. A reporter asked the President about Donald’s accusations, stating that he and his comrades set him up. Joe grinned and stated, “I didn’t know I was that powerful.”
The President contends, “The system still works.”
