Whew! Roommates, President Biden is going viral on the innanet again and it’s for all the wrong reasons!
According to Fox News, President Biden attended the NATO Summit in Washington, D.C. on Thursday July 11, marking his first solo press conference in months.
While on stage, Biden made not one, but TWO embarrassing mistakes. While addressing reporters during his opening question, the politician accidentally confused his right hand, Vice President Kamala Harris, with his November election opponent Donald Trump.
“Look, I wouldn’t have picked Vice President Trump to be Vice President if I think she’s not qualified to be president,” Biden said.
As if confusing VP Kamala Harris for Donald Trump wasn’t enough, Biden continued to make more mistakes throughout the conference.
He also mistakenly introduced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“And now I want to hand it over to the president of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination. Ladies and gentlemen, President Putin,” Biden said.
Despite his embarrassing error, the audience still clapped. However, Biden immediately corrected himself before walking off the stage.
“He’s going to beat President Putin. President Zelensky. I’m so focused on beating Putin. We got to worry about it. Anyway, Mr. President,” Biden continued.
President Zelensky seemed to make a little jokey joke about the mishap as he made his way to the podium saying, “I’m better.”
Biden quickly responded to Zelensky’s remark with “You are a hell of a lot better.”
