Clive Davis‘ annual pre-Grammy Gala has become a tradition in the music industry, known for its exclusivity and high-profile guest list.
And things were no different on Saturday (February 3) when the event returned to the prestigious Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
The Stars Arrive At Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Gala
This year’s red carpet was quite a sight, with celebrities pulling out all the stops to seemingly ensure they turned heads. And when Davis throws a party, everyone who’s anyone shows up, oh-kay!
Megan Thee Stallion, who’s had a lot to celebrate recently, showed up in a gold gown with cutout parts that accentuated her body-yody-yody.
Babyface kept things simple and sophisticated in a red suit with matching red glasses, while Monica was serving an all-black ensemble paired with pearl necklaces.
Flavor Flav kept things simple and cool with his drip, wearing a white shirt and pants. He accessorized his look with some white shades and his signature clock chain.
Victoria Monet, who is nominated for SEVEN awards at this year’s ceremony, was staying true to her love for jaguars in a Nicolas Jebran couture dress.
Serena Williams and Janelle Monae rocked similar black outfits. The latter added gold flowers to her bra, while Serena incorporated some shimmering gold to the sleeves of her dress.
Coco Jones Could Not Be Missed In This Ensemble
Coco Jones was undoubtedly a standout from some of her industry peers’ looks as she graced the carpet in a white Nina Ricci off-the-shoulder gown.
Paired with black opera gloves, Jones was hard to miss on the red carpet.
After making big bank during the Christmas period, Mariah Carey was also back on the scene, making a jaw-dropping entrance in her silver sequin gown.
Keyshia Cole dared to be different, with her red dress seamlessly blending in with the red carpet itself. It was a cute choice for the night, nonetheless, and the cutout sides, as well as the heart necklace, gave it a little edge.
Keke Palmer was somewhat channeling Whitney Houston with the hair while stunning in a yellow flower-patterned sheer dress, while Ice Spice turned up the heat with her sleek, black Rick Owens dress.
She appeared to have put her issues with Latto aside for the night by enjoying her night out. After all, the New Yorker had a lot to celebrate, having scooped up four nominations at this year’s Grammys.
The dress, which had a velvety black material and white contrast lining, stayed true to Ice’s personality while still being stylish.
