‘Gen V’ actor Chance Perdomo tragically passed away on Saturday (March 30).
According to People, the star’s death was the result of an accident.
The 27-year-old actor who portrayed Andre Anderson on the hit show died in a motorcycle accident.
No one else lost their life or was injured.
Chance’s passing has left his co-stars, friends, and fans in a state of shock. Many took to social media to pay tribute to the L.A. native.
Patrick Schwarzenegger, who acted alongside Chance on ‘Gen V’, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share his grief.
“This hurt. A lot,” Perdomo’s co-star wrote. “What a young talented actor, and a great friend – gone way too soon. Was a pleasure to work with him in ‘Gen V.’ RIP Chance.”
The actor later posted a pic of the two embracing during a scene from the series. He captioned it, “Damn this just made me tear up.”
Actor, Robert Bazzocchi, who played the role of Liam on ‘Gen V’ paid tribute to Chance in a statement released by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.
“Wow. The first thing I said to him at the pilot table read was that he was one of my favorite actors on ‘Sabrina.’
Bazzocchi added, “He’s a standout. So much talent and a warm soul. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones, may he rest in peace.”
@shariiahh commented on The Shade Room’s report of his passing, “Definitely didn’t deserve it, he was just about to get his flowers 😩 so talented, so young… rip.”
@thatisnae acknowledged the actor’s good looks amongst her devastation, stating, “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HE WAS FINE.”
Another Roomie, @tinabean wrote, “Omg RIP!!! Stop buying motorcycles please!!! So many have passed away bc of them! They are so unsafe!!!”
Deadline reports filming for the upcoming season of ‘Gen V’, a spin-off of ‘The Boys’, has now been delayed.
