Whew! Roommates, it looks like Porsha Williams is committed to divorcing Simon Guobadia.
In a new update, the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ demands her estranged husband keep the process honest. According to Page Six, she’s asking Simon “not to destroy, conceal or alter” any documents related to his finances.
Williams reportedly stated she wants Guobadia to maintain spare ” financial records or statements; all income records; all tax records; all expense records; all recordings or evidence reflecting relevant conduct by either party.” Should he fail to preserve the documents, Porsha is seeking the enforcement of sanctions.
Additionally, the ‘RHOP’ returnee revealed that she and Simon have a prenuptial agreement in place. They reportedly signed it on Nov. 17, 2022, ahead of their wedding, and Porsha wants it enforced. The prenup “sets forth each party’s separate property interests and marital property interests,” per court documents Page Six reviewed.
Speaking of keeping their coins intact, Porsha also wants her estranged hubby to cut the check for her legal fees.
Details About Porsha Filing For Divorce From Simon
As previously reported, Porsha filed for divorce from Simon in Georgia on Feb. 22 after 15 months of marriage and a lavish double ceremony. It’s unclear what led to their split, as five days before her filing, she shared an X and Instagram post of them vacationing overseas. In both captions, she wrote, “My ride or die,” adding “#BeHisPeace.”

Now, though, Porsha has listed their marriage as “irretrievably broken” with “no prospects for a reconciliation.” She also revealed they’re “living in a bona fide state of separation” amid the divorce process. However, it’s unclear how long that’s been the case.
Porsha and Simon have already publicly spoken about the end of their marriage. Porsha thanked fans for their “prayers and support,” while Simon suggested he was still here for his marriage.
On Sunday (Feb. 25), he wrote on his Instagram Story, “Will Stop Loving My Wife When Divorce is Final.”
PEOPLE broke the news of the divorce. A source told the outlet the reason behind the split is an “ongoing matter.” But they were clear that Simon’s obstacles with securing U.S. citizenship were not it.
For context, Simon was denied his petition to vacate an earlier decision by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) denying him citizenship. The Shade Room learned this bit of news before Porsha filed, but after she announced she’ll be re-joining the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ franchise.
Meanwhile, Porsha’s lawyer, Randall Kessler, told Page Six that she is “hopeful” she and Simon will settle their issues.
And while she’s saying that doesn’t include the marriage itself, her social media posts praising her estranged hubby and their marriage are still live on her platforms.
