On Wednesday well-known YouTube star Adam Saleh started to trend on social media when he posted a video of himself and a friend being escorted off of their Delta flight. This allegedly occurred because he was speaking Arabic. Quickly the hashtag #BoycottDelta started to trend on social media.
However, some people grew suspicious when it was brought to their attention that Saleh is a well-known prankster on YouTube. That is not to say this incident in particular is a prank, but it did cause a few people to question.
Delta Airlines later released a statement saying that they were looking into the situation.
