The Shade Room’s Justin Carter delves in on ‘TSR Investigates.’
Who Happened To Deundray Cottrell?
According to Carter, 31-year-old Cottrell was one-third of a popular Atlanta dance group called Skiiboyz. Additionally, the group included DeEric Garnell and Julian Morris, Cottrell’s partner.
On July 4, Morris accompanied Cottrell on his drive to Birmingham, Alabama, to visit his sister, Angelica Harris. Additionally, Cottrell brought his dog on the ride.
“Julian actually drove Deundray’s car here,” Harris told Carter. “That was the first time that we had ever seen D [Deundray] without DeEric, and him just… with Julian. That was kind of odd for us.”
Nonetheless, the family’s Fourth of July celebration kicked off with children lighting fireworks. Amid the festivities, Cottrell apparently went inside his sister’s home to check on his dog.
Harris told Carter that Morris emerged from her house by himself an hour later.
“He said it so nonchalant, so calm — [he was like,] ‘Hey, you know, your brother just jumped out of a window,'” Harris recalled.
