PnB Rock’s Fiancée Gives Testimony About “Kid” Shooter
This week, Stephanie Sibounheuang testified in court about the fatal incident that occurred at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles on September 12, 2022. She reportedly took the stand in PnB Rock’s murder trial on July 30.
Stephanie shared that she and PnB were in town for a wedding and planned to head to Atlanta afterward.
Complex reports that Stephanie had a “bad feeling” before entering the restaurant and asked PnB to take off his jewelry. The media outlet revealed that PnB had only removed his watch.
Shortly after they received their food, the shooter approached them, but PnB moved Stephanie out of the way to protect her.
Per XXL, Stephanie recalled that the then 17-year-old shooter pointed the gun at Rock’s face and demanded their jewelry.
“He came to our table right away. I thought it was a fan asking for a picture until I saw the gun.”
Additionally, Stephanie explained that the gunman warned PnB he would shoot her if he didn’t comply with his instructions.
“He said, ‘If you don’t give me the jewelry, I’m going to blow her head off.'” She noted that he yelled a second time, demanding the items, “Give me the f*****g jewelry.”
Sibounheuang further stated that the shooter had the gun pointed at PnB’s face, touching it with the weapon’s tip. Although the rapper put his hands up, he was eventually shot. Additionally, Stephanie described the shooter as “inexperienced” and “a kid who didn’t know what he was doing.”
“He got shot, and he like pushed me to the wall and threw me under the table. The [gunman] just kept shooting. I was telling him, ‘Stop shooting him, are you trying to kill him?'”
Here’s What Happened After The Teenager Shot The Rapper
Stephanie recalled the gunman removing Rock’s jewelry. When she attempted to reach into her bag for her phone, the teenager got startled, turned the gun to her, and asked what she was doing.
“I think he thought I had a gun. I thought I was dead,” Stephanie Sibounheuang testified.
She then described trying to help PnB by “putting pressure on his wounds” after three bullets hit him.
According to Complex, Stephanie recalled wanting to go to the hospital but instead spending hours talking to the police after the shooting.
“I just wanted to go to the hospital. I didn’t know if he was dead or alive. I was trying to figure out what was going on with my man. This was a tragic moment, and I needed to be by his side.”
After her testimony, she told Rolling Stone her fiancé “saved” her life. “He’s heroic. He’s a hero. [Other men] would never.”
Though firefighters later found a gun tucked into Rock’s waistband, Stephanie said she had no idea he had it with him. The shooting went down so fast there wasn’t time for him to pull it out.
Walking into the restaurant, Stephanie Sibounheuang shared that he also had a “bad feeling” and questioned whether they should eat there. “But it’s okay, we got God. God got us,” Rock said, per his fiancée. Less than an hour later, the rapper was dead.
