TSR knows we have all done some crazy things to get out of trouble but we think this story takes trying to save face to a whole other level!
It was reported earlier that Clark Atlanta University student, Alexis Jones-Rhodes, disappeared on her way to what was supposed to be her graduation ceremony at the school on Monday. Well today she has been found alive and well.
Just incase you weren’t seasoned with the story, Alexis left her Decatur-area home early Monday morning with her cap and gown to make her way to her graduation. Excited to see her walk across stage, her family was confronted with an equal amount of worry and confusion when Alexis never took her walk across stage to receive her degree.
‘Who had taken her and why’ were the questions raised by many upon learning of the tragic situation.
The good news is Alexis was found today in Illinois but according to the DeKalb County Police spokesperson, she was safe and was not a victim of any criminal activity. That came as a sign of relief to her family but then again that raises the question of ‘if she was safe and out of harms way, why didn’t she show up to graduation!?’
Well school officials have confirmed that Alexis was never signed in for commencement because she wasn’t eligible to graduate! Say whaaaaa!?
The family has since released a statement saying “Both her mother and father would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support, especially the Police and the media for their swift response. We are happy she is safe.”
Talk about a plot twist! Let’s chat below what was the craziest thing you have done to get out of embarrassment or trouble?

Just another dumb black bitch smh
Says the ignorant white s.o.b. get out of here.
Ditto
Unfortunately, I don’t think trell is white.
I think it is biracial or white. From some of the comments I read on its page, it is clearly racist, especially to black women. I am so glad no one knows it and therefore this vermin cannot spew its hate beyond comment sections. Black people have been living, working hard and staying happy even before it decided to be racist.
Truthfully, I don’t know or care about what that thing is supposed to be. All he/she is showing me is that he/she secretly admires and is jealous of the very people he/she claims to hate. You hate black people? Then why the hell are all of your comments on black blogs? Why take time out of your day to be around and read about something you find so distasteful? Seems retarded and lame to me. Trell is a professional troll and that’s all there is to say about that. There is no logic behind his/her actions.
True word, just learned a lot from this.
Are they actually black people that seriously hate other black people?. I mean hate as in ‘Jim crow’ type of hatred.
This is why all white people need to die and the dumb educated ones like yourself should die first bitch
Racism is like a hand grenade. No mater the color of the hand that throws it, a lot of people get hurt.
It sure didn’t take long for the racists from both sides to show up, did it? Obviously, she fell short of the requirements for her degree, this time. Parents, family, and friends, were disappointed. She wanted to put of the moment of reckoning for another day. People all over this country were concerned for her. Prayers were said in her behalf. All I can add is this: Alexis, please don’t quit. Don’t give up on yourself now. Any disappointment can be erased by perseverance, and your eventual success.
Great response!
Thanks. I needed that.
Plot twist…nah, just embarassed that she been partying to hard instead of hitting them books. I somewhat did the same thing. My folks thought i was graduating and went and spent all this money to throw me a big celebration. I didnt tell the truth until a few days before graudation. Lol…but i was lowkey scared. My parents was pissed because it was money lost that they couldnt get back. I graduated the next semester tho…so Alexis…dont give up baby girl.
Thanks.
