Philando Castile’s mother is set to receive an estimated $3 million dollar payout over the death of her son who was killed during a traffic stop back in July of 2016.
According to CNN, attorneys representing the family have confirmed to the city of Minnesota that a settlement has indeed been reached.
“No amount of money could ever replace Philando, with resolution of the claims the family will continue to deal with their loss through the important work of the Philando Castile Relief Foundation.” said Valerie Castile, mother of Philando Castile.
RIP Philando Castile.
