While many have opted to buy the body they want instead of building it, others have had trouble with the finished product, including Pepa from Salt-N-Pepa.
According to TMZ, Pepa is suing Dr. David Sayah for negligence. Pepa claims he convinced her to have 3 separate surgeries to repair damage she suffered in a July 2018 car accident.
In legal docs obtained by TMZ, “Pepa reportedly says her 2018 wreck made the biopolymer injections she previously had in her butt and hips shift, leaving her in extreme discomfort. Pep says she was referred to Dr. Sayah in Sept. 2019 to help her out, and the plan was to remove the biopolymer material and butt implants to relieve her pain.”
It’s reported that she was initially convinced to replace her butt implants with smaller ones because she wouldn’t be satisfied with her natural butt, TMZ reports. But instead of that happening, Pepa claims the doctor performed an unsuccessful liposuction.
TMZ also reports that the doctor “pressured” Pepa into a different procedure that hardened her butt and made it knot up. Thus, making it hard for her to perform on stage. The third and final procedure happened in February of 2020.
This last procedure was supposed to remove the biopolymer material but it didn’t. Pepa reportedly went to another doctor because of pain. After an MRI, a “large amount of biopolymer silicone and dead scar tissue remaining” was discovered.
The rapper is filing suit, claiming Dr. Sayah allegedly disfigured her body. Pepa reportedly claims she’ll likely suffer from the injuries for the rest of her life.
The rapper says she is going to need even more surgery, TMZ reports.
Ooohhhwwweee! Gots to be more careful.
