Earlier this month, the 42-year-old rapper took to TikTok and shared a video showing off his “new Texan wire wheels.”
In the video’s comment section, viewers couldn’t help but share their reaction to the rapper’s growing gray locks. One TikTok user, @leggo2085, compared the rapper’s new look to actor Billy Bob Thornton.
“Anyone else wondering how Paul Wall turned into Billy Bob Thornton???”
We must note that Wall usually rocked a low buzz cut throughout his rap career.

Finally, on Monday, the rapper took to the platform to share his latest TikTok. In the video caption, he humorously remarked that his face looked like an “old man filter.” Ultimately, the video went viral, throwing social media users into a frenzy.
On Tuesday, Wall’s viral TikTok was reshared by The Shade Room. Instagram users couldn’t help but enter the post’s comment section and share their astonished reactions to the rapper’s new look.

TMZ spoke exclusively with the rapper in an interview published Wednesday. During the interview, Wall explained that he experienced premature graying of his hair as a teenager.
Additionally, he shared that the trait runs in his family.
The rapper explained that once he “hit” 40 years old, “it just felt like being gray was more age-appropriate.”
“As soon as I hit 40, I felt like all my hang-ups [and] insecurities went out the window,” he continued. “Now this is a personal issue I’ve had to deal with my whole life. Once I hit 40, I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I’m letting them greys show.'”
Wall ultimately explained that despite the challenge of dealing with gray hairs as a teenager, he is “proud” to show off his new look today.
