The summer is quickly coming to an end, which means that the holiday season is right around the corner.
Now we all know Patti LaBelle had the holiday season on lock last year with her Patti Pies. The dessert gained instant success after James Wright Chanel tried the pie on camera, then broke out into song to express his satisfaction.
According to CNN Money, Patti LaBelle is back with some new desserts added to her line. She is expanding with five new products, which include berry cobbler, apple cobbler, peach cobbler, apple pecan cake and sweet potato loaf.
The success of Patti’s pies exceeded past the holiday season, which turned a seasonal product into a year round product. Wal-Mart spokesman John Forrest Ales said, “It’s pretty insane that it’s August and people are still buying the sweet potato pie.”
However, the question is do you think these new products will be a big hit like the pies?
