Pardi is clearing his name amid suspicions that he cheated on Megan Thee Stallion. The ‘Backin’ It Up’ rapper discussed his former girlfriend with Angela Yee and co-hosts on her sex-positive podcast, Lip Service.
“That’s not what happened, that’s not what happened at all,” Pardison Fontaine said after Angela referenced Megan’s ‘Cobra’ lyrics.
As previously reported, fans of the Houston Hottie suspected Pardison of cheating after Megan released the track on Nov. 3. In the second verse, the female rapper asks God for a “break” after catching an unnamed lover being unfaithful.
“Man, I miss my parents, way too anxious, always cancel my plans. Pulled up, caught him cheatin’, getting his d**k sucked in the same spot I’m sleepin’. Lord, give me a break, I don’t know how much more of this sh*t I can take,” Megan Thee Stallion rapped.
Pardi’s appearance on Lip Service is the second time he’s addressed Megan’s indirect accusation. Two weeks after ‘Cobra’ dropped, he released a clapback track for Megan called ‘Thee Person.’ He accused Thee Stallion of telling “half-truths” and making their breakup “messy” when it had already been handled privately.
In the track, Pardi revealed he had bought an engagement ring for Megan and then found out she “lied to [his] face.”
“Went on TV and then lied to Gayle King. I found out with the rest of the world. Girl, I treated you like a queen. Whole time, I’m a clown in your circus. I tried to pull you up out the mud. Here you are, tryna drown me on purpose. You know the devil was a serpent. For some streams and views, girl, I hope it was worth it. This ain’t for Megan Thee Stallion. This is for Megan Thee Person,” Pardison rapped.
On Lip Service, he responded, “Absolutely not,” when asked if Megan actually caught him receiving oral pleasure. He also denied being intimate with anyone else while in a relationship.
However, Pardison Fontaine did admit that he had some inappropriate contact. After the podcast hosts classified hiding communications as cheating, Pardi then agreed that — in that sense — he cheated.
“Inappropriate correct yeah,” Pardison said. “But the way it was painted that had me so mad, it was like…this is the part of the relationship after everything that took place. Everything that was kind of, you know, forgiving, everything that we washed away, especially when nobody asked for this [meaning ‘Cobra’] this is what you wanna go with?”

In a follow-up interview on The Breakfast Club, Pardi said he wishes Megan “well” and revealed the engagement ring money was “allotted for something different now.” He remained non-specific about the “laundry list of reasons” that caused their breakup.

On Wed. (Dec. 13), Megan Thee Stallion hopped on live to address Pardison, calling him out for dissing her when she didn’t name-drop him.
In September, Pardison was romantically linked to dancehall artist Jada Kingdom. The alleged baes have been pictured in intimate embraces several times since then. However, it’s unclear if they remain involved.
