Roommates, many of us know Orlando Brown for his Disney days. The actor brought laughs, tears and lessons to millennials as the character Eddie Thomas on the hit show ‘That’s So Raven.’ Over the last few years, Orlando has made headlines for more grave reasons. So, it was delightful to folks on Instagram when The Shade Room posted an exclusive clip of Orlando giving motivational advice.
“Ay y’all it’s all about making sure you right your wrongs in Jesus name,” Orlando said in the 14-second clip.
The video was shared with The Shade Room (TSR) staff by a roomie. Zephiniah Hale told staff he reportedly ran into the actor on Friday in San Bernardino, California. According to screenshots provided, the actor also posed for pictures in what appears to be a parking lot.
“Let me tell y’all something the blessed is coming,” Orlando said. “Don’t act like you don’t know that your blessing is [not] coming.”
The “not” in the sentence is seemingly an error that contradicts his motivational messaging. Nonetheless, the exclusive video garnered more than 8,000 comments and over two million views by Friday evening. It is a contrast to previous viral videos we’ve seen of the former Disney star. Back in January 2020, The Shade Room reported on a circulating video in which Orlando claimed he had a sexual encounter with actor and host Nick Cannon. At the time, Nick released a statement refuting the claims and asking for prayers for Orlando.
Later that same year, we had the opportunity to see Orlando in a better light. He was pictured in a video with his wife Danielle, who he wed in October 2020, and their child.
Now, fans have this additional look at the rapper in high spirits. Orlando is seen wagging his finger at the camera while preaching. He wore a black hoodie, with red blocked letters and dark sunglasses.
“Stop playing, Orlando Brown in the building, you know what I’m saying,” Orlando said to end the short clip.
