Roommates, Gayle King has been trending for some days now, following an interview she did with Lisa Leslie. If you all recall, she asked some questions in regards to some past allegations against Kobe Bryant, and people are certainly not here for it.
And while Gayle said her piece about her intentions behind asking the questions, Kobe fans are not convinced. Now, Gayle’s bestie, Oprah Winfrey is speaking out on her behalf.
In an interview with the ladies of ‘Hoda And Jenna‘, Oprah says Gayel is “not doing well”, as she is now receiving death threats from people who are critical of her comments.
Oprah Winfrey not only says Gayle is not doing well, but she says she has not slept in two days. She also says Gayle feels like she is being attacked by Bill Cosby, and other celebrities.
“She’s not doing well and feels like she was put in a very terrible position because the interview had already ran,” she says. “And in the context of the interview everyone seemed fine including Lisa Leslie.”
