Oprah Winfrey is one smart businesswoman because she just hit the jackpot. As we previously reported yesterday, Oprah bought a 10% stake of Weight Watchers for $43.5 Million, which is nothing when you’re a billionaire.
Oprah’s investment paid off big time for her because just one day after her announcement the company’s stocks soared, from $6.79 to $13.92, turning her $43 million investment into $70 million in just one day!
The former talk show host will definitely be singing “Money, Money, Money” when she checks that checking account today.
