Congratulations are in order for the kids today, it’s recently been announced that Milan Christopher is joining the cast of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood this fall!
Something you may have recognized is that the rapper shares a last name with a music industry giant! Yes, he is related to the legendary Motown music mogul Berry Gordy! With that last name being one of the biggest in music history, we can expect Milan to really show out on Love and Hip Hop!
So, why are some of Milan Christopher’s castmates refusing to film with him? Well, according to TMZ, “We’re told a number of the rappers are upset with producers for hiring Milan … not because he’s gay but because he has no cred in the rap game. They believe producers hired Milan as a “sideshow” and a “circus” to goose ratings.”
Some of the rappers that are refusing to film scenes with Milan are Soulja Boy, Mally Mall and even Ray J. They don’t even want to be in the same club as the guy!
Now, there’s very little that we can put past these reality shows when you consider that they just might do anything for ratings! Instead of these guys allegedly claiming that he has no rap cred and shaming him for it, maybe they should worry about charting. The show is supposed to be about music anyway!
