Chrisean Rock is making it clear she’s unfazed by the hundreds of thousands of followers she’s lost on social media these past few days.
The Zeus Network star went viral on Sunday (January 28) as she debuted a huge portrait tattoo of her on-again, off-again beau, Blueface.
But she didn’t just choose any portrait as her reference image; she specifically chose one of his past mugshots.
Given their volatile history and the fact that they’re currently not even together, the tat reveal perplexed and stunned fans.
So much so that her follower count, per TMZ, saw a drastic decline.
According to the publication, Chrisean had lost about 200,000 just two days after flaunting her tattoo, indicating that her fans were far from pleased by the move.
The legitimacy of the tattoo has also been a topic of discussion among her fans. The noticeable lack of redness and swelling, which are common indicators of a recent tattoo, have led to increased skepticism.
But by the look of things, the reality star couldn’t care less about the backlash she’s getting online.
The Baltimore native hopped on X on Thursday (February 1) to sound off on people who believe she won’t be able to recover from what they deem a publicity stunt gone wrong.
“The more y’all hate the more popular I become I don’t give a f**k about losing followers,” the mother of one wrote.
“I get paid off my engagement/ algorithm if I’m getting 60 plus million views on my post 400k plus comments my promo prices just goes up or anything I sell stay sold out . So continue the hate train it makes me hella money.”
Even Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold, inserted herself in the controversy, claiming Chrisean’s fans were being manipulated to feel sorry for her.
Karlissa also didn’t believe that the “Vibe” rapper was only losing followers due to her shocking tattoo. She thinks it stems from Chrisean repeatedly calling her fans “broke.”
“No ma’am , they left when she called them broke followers. Do not make this about my son,” she wrote under a social media post, per HotNewHipHop.
She followed up by sharing a photo of Chrisean’s tattoo on her Instagram page. The accompanying caption read, “That ain’t my boy ! I don’t care what she say. It ain’t my fault stop taking it out on me when he don’t want y’all”
Before turning himself in last month for violating his probation in his Vegas assault case, Blueface and Chrisean weren’t exactly on good terms.
Just last month, the 23-year-old accused the ‘Thotiana’ rapper of getting physical with her following yet another dispute between the two.
And, of course, Chrisean wasted no time hopping on Live to share her side of the story.
She claimed she had been in contact with Blueface, who invited her to his LA home to spend quality time with their son, Chrisean Jr.
But things quickly took a turn for the worse when they arrived. She claimed Blueface became irate and “socked” her in the stomach and face before she could even exit the car.
“…Socked my in my stomach, in my face, telling me to the get out the car,” Rock said of the alleged incident. “I didn’t get out the car ’cause I’m sitting here like… He must be drunk, so he’s feeling himself. But he literally socked me.”
Chrisean is now back to living at Blueface’s house after packing her belongings from the multi-million dollar home she claimed to have purchased just three months ago.
It’s unclear whether the rapper is even aware of Chrisean being back at his property.
According to Fox 11 Los Angeles, he’ll remain incarcerated until his release date on July 2.
