A speeding car killed one person and left at least 19 others injured, Thursday, in Times Square.
Witnesses on the scene say the car was “out of control” and “plowed” through pedestrians before ultimately crashing.
We hear the driver has a history of drunken driving, although it hasn’t been confirmed whether the driver, Richard Rojas, 26 was under the influence at the time of the crash.
The Bronx resident is reportedly now in police custody and the incident is being investigated.
“A woman in front on the sidewalk was hit and tossed before then car reached 44th st, continued plowing people down at full speed up to 45th street, where it was stopped after crashing into more people and the light post pictured,” @semiquasicelebritywannabe said on Instagram.
