#Roommates, “Power” may be officially over, but that doesn’t mean that Omari Hardwick can’t occasionally slip into character when its necessary. Omari had to quickly channel his “Ghost” character when a fan came for him on social media.
Fans of the original “Power” are still trying to process the series finale that aired just a few weeks ago. However, series star Omari Hardwick proved that “Ghost” lives on—especially when it comes to checking a troll who gets out of line.
Omari recently posted a photo of himself on Instagram with the poem “Invictus” by English poet William Ernest Henley. Now, if you’re asking why he would post something like this, well there are a few reasons. First, die-hard Omari fans know that he is an avid poet himself and has been for several years. Secondly, the poem is customary for pledges to learn before they’re given the opportunity to become a member of the fraternity, that fraternity is Alpha Phi Alpha, which Omari is a member of.
It didn’t take long for a fan to post this underneath Omari’s photo:
“We want Ghost f**k what you talking about.”
Well, Omari didn’t take that comment lightly and came back with the vengeance, writing:
“Now you….you the clown. When i slap the s**t outa you (cuz you don’t deserve more than that) outa you….i will remind you thas from me, Omari. B**ch a** f*ck boy. Go be just THAT. Clown a** n*ggas. Should go ask your Momz if she can rebirth you. Matta fact….go find Tommy & Joe. See if they don’t say the same.”
Perhaps the fan is still grieving the loss of his favorite character, however we definitely don’t think he’ll be coming for Omari again after that clapback.
Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
