Roommates, you never know what hidden talents your favorite celebrities possess—but it’s always fun to find out. In a new video posted to Instagram, Omar Epps decided to show off his vocal chops while singing some classic Jodeci.
Omar Epps is a Hollywood veteran who is known for his host of classic roles, but he recently had the urge to switch things up—and we have Jodeci to thank. In a few short clips posted to his Instagram account, Omar is seen singing along to Jodeci’s classic song, “Forever My Lady.”
He appeared to be completely feeling the music, as he sang his heart out with his eyes closed—and some head bops and swaying from side-to-side along the way.
It’s good to see Omar in good spirits, as he has a lot to be happy about these days. In addition to his recurring role on the NBC hit series “This Is Us,” he also has several other projects lined up that fans can look forward to, including a new thriller for Netflix with Nia Long.
Additionally, he just celebrated the 20th anniversary of the film that many fans rank as one of his best, as “Love & Basketball” turned 20 on April 21st. Director Gina Prince-Bythewood recently spoke about how challenging it was to initially get the film made.
She stated:
“As an artist, you hope you’re making art that resonates and reaches people, but you never know. So the fact that 20 years later we’re still talking about my first film is humbling and amazing to me. Especially when I think back to trying to get it made and knowing how many times it was dead in the water.”
We see you, Omar!
