Somebody call Drake for my mans, #OdellBeckhamJr!
In addition to losing 27-22 to the #LAChargers today, the #NYGiants have now lost their star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.!
While attempting to catch a pass (which ended up being incomplete), OBJ landed awkwardly and got pinned under Chargers cornerback #CaseyHoward, leaving his left ankle broken. The football player was carted off as he winced in agony.
NFL insider #IanRapoport reports that Beckham will be out for at least eight weeks and it’s highly likely that he will play the rest of the season. According to reports, OBJ will seek a second opinion before moving forward with treatments, but it’s not looking good.
OBJ’s injury as well as fellow wide receivers Sterling Shepard, Brandon Marshall and Dwayne Harris who suffered foot or ankle injuries today definitely continues to set the Giants back. Their offense hasn’t been the best this season and are now at a season record of 0-5.
