President Obama avoided embarrassing presidential scandals during his time in the White House and he’s letting it be known! During a recent closed-door speech in Boston, he said his drama-free approach helped him get through eight years without one major scandal.
“We didn’t have a scandal that embarrassed us,” he said during the speech, which was obtained by the magazine Reason. “I know that seems like a low bar.”
He went on to say that his team did make mistakes, but there were no major screw-ups. “Generally speaking, you didn’t hear about a lot of drama inside our White House,” he added.
