By now we all know that O.J Simpson is eligible for parole, and now the world will get to see his upcoming parole hearing live on television.
According to Deadline, Simpson’s hearing is scheduled for this Thursday and ESPN, along with other news outlets will reportedly air the hearing live on their networks.
Those who will have an interest in watching the hearing can catch it on ESPN as an extended 90-minute “Outside The Lines Special.”
The Nevada Board of Parole has reportedly said that over 25 news outlets have registered to cover the hearing from both the hearing location in Carson City and Lovelock Correctional Center, where Simpson has been serving his time.
The hearing is set to start at 1 pm EST, and Simpson will appear, “via video conference from the prison, with four parole commissioners in Carson City.”
Simpson was arrested back in 2008 and sentenced to nine to 33-years for an armed confrontation in Las Vegas with two sports memorabilia dealers.
If given parole, Simpson could be released as soon as October 1st.
