This past weekend NYC had a lot going on with two major music festivals, Governors Ball and Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam concert.
Unfortunately, the third day of Governors Ball was cancelled due to the weather, which allowed Kanye West the chance to shut down the stage at Hot 97’s Summer Jam.
Following the concert Kanye caused quite the commotion when he tried to throw a free show at Webster Hall at 2 A.M.
Ye’ even reached out to the city’s mayor, Bill de Blasio, to shut down a part of the street for a block party. However, considering the time of night that definitely didn’t happen.
Earlier today Mayor de Blasio took to Twitter and said, “@kanyewest @kimkardashian Great block parties are planned. @Chirlane & I can throw one w/ you to benefit NYC kids.”
Since the show didn’t happen, do you guys think Kanye will follow up on his offer?
