Nicki Minaj Drops The Release Dates For ‘Freaky Girl’ And Queen Radio (Video)

Are you ready?! ‘Freaky Girl’ is trending, all thanks to Nicki Minaj! As the GRAMMY-nominated rapper is gearing up to drop her next single, her fans, affectionately known as the Barbz, are going crazy following her latest tweet.

Nicki wrote, “#NickJames is coming to do what the girls SHOULD’VE done. #NickJames is coming to show the girls why they should’ve just sat there & ate their food. #NickJames is coming to show the boys how to REALLY gag the girls. Pauz #NickJames is coming to restore hope in mankind.”

It’s unclear who Nick James is, but we know that she’s sampling the late Rick James’ song ‘Superfreak’ in her single. His estate gave the Queen the stamp of approval on Twitter earlier this week.

Whenever Nicki hops online, it’s a frenzy! The rapper and mother of one also let fans know that Queen Radio is coming back on August 12th, and the official drop date for ‘Freaky Girl’ is August 13th.

If you’re not familiar with Nicki’s show, it was formally on Apple Music. The website describes it as follows, “Nicki Minaj holds court in her very own Apple Music show, Queen Radio. Join the record-shattering MC as she selects favorite cuts from her Essentials playlist, engages in unfiltered banter with her Barbz, and unleashes surprises and special guests at every turn.”

The radio show will now move over to Amazon’s platform AMP. As we previously reported, Nicki, Tinashe, and Pusha T will have their own shows.

Roomies, are ya’ll ready for ‘Freaky Girl’ and Queen Radio?
