Roommates, Nicki Minaj just gave birth to her first child, a healthy baby boy—but her die-hard fanbase, the Barbz, are so eager to get a glimpse of him that they are going to ridiculous lengths. Nicki had to call out the Barbz on social media to let them know that the photo they were circulating online of her alleged son was in fact, not him at all.
If you know anything about Nicki Minaj, then you know that her fans, the Barbz, are absolutely hardcore regarding anything concerning her—and that includes her newborn baby boy. When one of the Barbz tweeted a photo of an infant boy and suggested the little one was Nicki’s own newborn son, social media went absolutely wild. The fan even captioned the photo, writing “Welcoming Jeremiah-Maraj-Petty. You are a blessing to us and we love you so much.”
However, it didn’t take long for Nicki Minaj to call out the Barbz and let them know that not only were they wrong, but that it wasn’t cool that they posted a fake photo.
Nicki tweeted, “Not my baby. Not his name. Imagine doing this. Pls delete this person’s child from your page.”
Earlier this week, Nicki confirmed the sex of her son on Instagram, writing “I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favorite liddo boy in the whole wide world.”
